| SushiShop.be |

Chains are usually "chains" because they are doing something right (at least until the IPO), and SushiShop is no exception. Its impressive fleet of delivery scooters, parked in formation like F-14s along avenue Louise, bear witness to its popularity. SushiShop delivers to most of Brussels (1000, 1040, 1050, 1060) for lunch or dinner, and the fairly-priced sushi (especially the salmon) is consistently good.

| Domaine de Lintillac |
When you order foie gras in a restaurant, you hardly expect to be asked to toast your own bread, but Domaine de Lintillac revels in just this sort of juxtaposition of the haute and the rustique. From the moment your coupe corrèzienne (Champagne with a dash of violette) is placed onto your red-and-white gingham tablecloth, you will revel in it, as well – provided you like duck, that is. Eating at Domaine de Lintillac is a wonderful experience not only for the food and the friendly service, but also because the restaurant delivers an authentic, gourmet dining experience at about half the price you would expect.

| Royal Brasserie |
With the arrival of Royal Brasserie, it's now official: the canal district is hot. This new, neighborhood-making dining spot on Rue de Flandre offers a classic Belgian menu – waterzooi, carbonnades, Américan, steaks – in an upscale, modern atmosphere. The delicious beef, imported from Ireland, exemplifies owner Emiel van Landuyt's desire to raise the bar for these standard menu items.
